I have been eating home cooked porridge almost everyday since last Monday and it is porridge again when we eat out on Sunday night. This restaurant had just opened at SS14 effective 1/9/2007 (They actually move from SS 19 to SS 14). What are their specialities? It had got to be some kind of porridge. Right, they had many version of porridge and the one with the Chef Recommended sign are Pompret Porridge, Ikan Parang Porridge and Braised Duck porridge. There also have a number of Hakka dishes like Black Vinegar trotter, Stewed Pork with Yam, Hakka Abacus, Soon Kueh and so on

They have been featured by the Star Paper recently on 19 June 2007.



We ordered the Pomfret Porridge @ RM15.00 which is just nice for 2 persons. The porridge are the watery type with freshly slice pomfret meat. The tastes are okay and not really a dish that I keep going back to eat. I will probably ordered some other dishes to try the next time. And my son had the Saito Fish ball and fish cakes noodles @ RM5.00/bowl. He said he preferred the Tang House of Fishball probably because they have added some pepper to it which he dont like.
