This A1 Crispy Puff(established 1991) which originated from Singapore where there have 12 outlets has landed in Malaysia with 2 outlets (Damansara Utama and Bukit Bintang).1A Crispy Puffs (Selangor) Sdn Bhd opened its first outlet in Damansara Utama in April, followed by another at the Bukit Bintang Monorail Station in May.
Its crispy puffs can be identified by their layered texture that is inspired by the intricate layering on sea shells, horn-like shape and variety of fillings.
The most popular varieties are Crispy Curry Puff, Crispy Durian Puff, Crispy Black Pepper Chicken Puff and Crispy Yam Paste Puff.
They also have Crispy Sweet Corn Puff, Crispy Veggie Puff, Crispy Crab Chillie Puff and even Crispy Otak Puff.
The crispy puffs are made fresh daily and stamped with a symbol to identify their respective fillings.
I bought the Yam, Sweet Corn and Veggie to sample. Not bad and very crispy as it it is freshly cooked.
