Our home in Nepal: Shambala Guest House
Tuesday, December 18, 2007This is the place that we stayed during the pilgrimage. We actually booked for a guest house but they upgraded us to an apartment.
Our living hall.
The kitchen with all the utensils.
The bedroom.
There is a nice garden just outside the guest house.
This is the main road just in front of the guest house.
The view from the apartment is very beautiful and we can see Koppan monastery from here. It will take about 15-20mins to walk up to Koppan Monastery. But we have a van to take us everywhere.
At the ground floor, there is a mini market for our convenience. We can get almost anything from here.
This is the guest house internet cafe which is just next door where I update my blog. But the internet connection is very slow.
The group that stayed at Shambala with some of the guest house staff.

Below is a video taken using my Nokia N76 of another unit of the apartment which I took on the last day. I did not take our apartment as is was in a messy situation. Anyway, it is almost the same. I understand it costs USD30.00 per night.
