Day 4 Tour of Kopan Monastery (Part III) : Holy Child of Kopan
Saturday, December 29, 2007On day 4, our Group had the opportunity to visit the Kopan Holy Child Tenzin Phuntsok Rinpoche and seek his blessings. Along the way to his residence @ Kopan, we can have a very beatiful view of part of Kathmandu. To read more about the reincarnation of Gesha Lama Konchog, you may visit this site. Click here.
Tenzin Phuntsok Rinpoche was ready to receive us at his room when we arrived.
He spoke to us in very fluent English and at times speak to Gesha-la in Tibetan. He asked Geshe-la how big is the group and if it is too big, he will get tired.
Holy child was in very cheerful mood and we had lots of fun and laughter together.
Everyone of us got his blessings.
One of the group member even got his advice to eat less sweet as it is bad for his teeth. And he pointed to his own teeth that one of them is not so good.
Holy child do not like the flash lights from cameras. Therefore we have to take pictures without flash. He said flash lights will spoil his eyes. We wanted to take picture with him but he was too busy with some new toys.
Holy child has a playground for himself. He is enjoying some games.
