Today, I have finally managed to add a Favicon to my blogsite though trial and error as my It knowledge is only mama standard only. I got the Favicon code but do not know where to paste as the html template is quite complex for a IT noob like me.
The instruction was as follows:But I keep searching where is the <HEAD> located on the Html template but no success. So I asked my son to help and he scorlled up and down and said hey, it is here, so easy also dunno. Aiyah, young people are better or my eye sight is not good.
When you view my blogsite now, you will notice that I have the below logo displayed. Coool!
What is a favicon?
Favicon (pronounced fav-eye-con) is short for 'Favorites Icon.' A Favicon is a multi-resolution image included on nearly all professional developed sites. Within Internet Explorer or Firefox the Favicon is displayed on the Address line and in the Favorites menu. The Favicon allows the webmaster to further promote their site, and to create a more customized appearance within a visitor's browser. Often, the Favicon reflects the look and feel of the web site or the organization's logo.
Thanks to Mr Peter Chen as I learnt how to add the Favicon through his website, Blogger Tips and Tricks.
