Malacca Foods: Newton Hawker Centre
Saturday, March 22, 2008It was drizzling from 8pm onwards and we had to take a cab back to hotel which costs us RM5.00 for a short trip from the Maritime Museum to Hotel. We rested for 2 hours and head out to drive around Malacca Town. I had wanted to try the Capitol Satay Celup for supper but it was damn packed so we decided not to as it may be long wait.
So I went to Newton Hawker Centre to see what are available at the local food court. Well, it is very similar stuffs like those in KL/PJ.

We ordered for some desserts, Bur Bur Cha Cha and Porridge with Oat Brain. RM1.00/per small bowl.
My son tried the WanTan Mee. Average. The CharSiew doesn't look and taste nice. KL/PJ ones are better.
We also tried the Pork Satay. The satay sauce is little different and taste a bit sweet and sour. Just ok.
