Madam Kwan @ Mid-Valley, KL
Friday, September 05, 2008Visited the Modern Home & Living Fair 2008 at Mid-Valley Convention Center this morning. It was not that crowded as it may be due to the Muslim Fasting Month and the other fairs at PWTC and KLCC.
Madam's Specialities.
For lunch, we decided to dine at Madam Kwan's. Named after the founder, this chic establishment is well known and popular for its spicy Nyonya (blends of Chinese and Malay) offerings and its Nasi Bojari (coloured rice with fried chicken, Beef Rendang and Assam Prawn) and Nasi Lemak (cocunut milk rice served with various trimmings). Try the all time local favourite Ice Campur (crushed ice with nuts and syrup) and cendol.
For me, I had the Nasi Lemak @ RM14.20 and Cendol @ RM5.80.
And my two friends had the Nasi Bojari @ RM20.50.
The service staff was quick and attentive and the foods here are good but rather on the expensive side.
