Many of you who may not have known about Phuntsok Rinpoche who is the reincarnation of a great practitioner, the late Geshe Lama Konchog who manifested passing away in year 2002 in Kopan Monastery, Nepal. After the cremation was performed, thousand of relics were found. The relics were once brought to KL for exhibition. Thereafter the search for the late Geshe Lama Konchog's reincarnation began.
Phuntsok Rinpoche was found and recognized as the authentic reincarnation of the late Geshe Lama Konchog at the end of year 2005 by His Holisness the Dalai Lama and Kyabje Lama Zopa Rinpoche.
It's our great fortune to have Phuntsok Rinpoche visiting to KL for a few days. He will be accompanied by Geshe Tenzin Zopa, Ven.Lhundup, Ven.Denzom and his father.
Phuntsok Rinpoche is scheduled to attend our Young People Program on 15th April, Sunday, 11am with children. Subsequently at 2pm, there will be a talk on The Tradition of Reincarnation - finding the Golden Child by Geshe Tenzin Zopa. The talk will end with blessing by Phuntsok Rinpoche and light tea & dessert will be served at the Center afterward.
Geshe Tenzin Zopa, who was the heart attendant to the late Geshe Lama Konchog, was the centre figure of the search for this Golden Child. Let us all come to listen to the talk and get an in depth understanding on the mystery of reincarnation.
