Dublin @ Ireland

Dublin is the capital and largest city in Ireland. We arrived early morning on Etihad Airways flight via Abu Dhabi. It was a pleasant flight with transit in Abu Dhabi.

We collected our rental car from CarHire Ireland (sister company (EuropCar) upon arrival. We requested for GPS and the reception recommended us a BMW X1 Diesal with built in GPS instead of the Ford Focus that I booked online.

We drove to ABC House B & B to check in and we were able to check in as our room was
ready.

Our plan for rest of the day was to do some sightseeing at St Patrick Cathedral, Kilmanham Gaol, Guinness Storehouse, Temple Bar, Trinity College etc. followed by dinner at Temple Bar Area.
Our 1st Stop, St Patrick Cathedral
2nd Stop. Kilmanham Goal. Peak Season, all tickets sold out. You have to book online during the peak season to avoid any disappointment. So we just took a walk and took some pictures from outside.
Irish Museum of Modern Art |
3rs Stop. Guinness Storehouse. Again, we were disappointed as the closing hour is 5.30pm and we arrived just before the closing time. Therefore, we were not able to take a tour of the Guiness Storehouse. We try to schedule to come back on the last day if we have the time.
Last Stop. Trinity College, Temple Bar and walk around Dublin City Centre
Trinity College |
Bicycle for rental |
The Famous Temple Bar |
