Colourful Athlone town. Athlone is a town on the River Shannon near the southern shore of Lough Ree in Ireland. 

We stopover at this colourful town on the way back to Dublin from Galway. Its a beautiful town and Athlone Castle is located right in the center of the town. We just went for a short walk visiting the Athlone Castle and looking around the streets of Athlone. When we wanted to leave we decided to have early dinner before we head to Celbridge. While walking, we discovered this Thai restaurant, Kin Khao which has won numerous awards and decided to eat here. The foods are delicious and meet our expectation.
