Help a Kid go back to school

Friday, December 12, 2008

This Christmas season, you can help make a difference in a child’s life.

AllMalaysian Bloggers Project (AMBP) and the Rotaract Club of Kuala Lumpur has come up with a very meaningful project called Project Gift a Kid to raise funds to buy back-to-school material – books, stationery, uniforms etc – for 100 underprivileged children, aged between six and 15 years from the follwoing two organisations.
  • Rumah WAKE 1: A home for HIV+ children and their affected siblings under the Pertubuhan Wanita dan Kesihatan Kuala Lumpur)

  • Sekolah Rendah Jenis (Tamil) Cheras: Many of the children from this school come from the surrounding low-cost flats and squatter areas. Most of them can’t afford school uniforms, let alone school fees.

By contributing towards this project with my this blog entry, I am helping to sending a kid to the movies sponsoered by Universal International Pictures (UIP).

If you are interested to sponsor a child, here’s what you’ll have to do:
  1. Print out the Sponsorship Form, then fill in your details.

  2. Together with the sponsored sum, return the form(s) to us between Dec 15 and 18, at the following address:

    Star Publications (M) Bhd
