Canton-i @ One Utama
Tuesday, November 18, 2008My bro & family was in town and I met up with them at One Utama. After their shopping, we went to try out this restaurant known as Canton-i which is owned by the same company that owned Dragon-i. The concept is very much the same but Canton-i serves different kind of foods such as roast pork, char siew, wan tan noodles, rice, congee, dim sum items and desserts. This outlet opened sometime early 2008 and there is another outlet at Sunway Pyramid.
The decor is very nice with pinkish lightnings and whitw tables and chairs.
The menu have a write up about the history of wan tan mee.
And the chief recommendations.
My bro & family looking through the menus.
We ordered Char Siew/Roast Pork Twin Mix Rice @ RM11.80.
Pork Belly Roast Pork @ RM16.80. Taste yummylicious and crsipy but a bit expensive. For the same amount of $$$, we can have a big plate at SS 17 which is of the same quality or better. Well, that's is what we pay to eat in a nice environment at a upmarket shopping centre.
BBQ Pork @ RM12.80. Quite good but Meng Kee is still the best.
This wan tan mee is really good as it springy. RM3.00 for a plain bowl.

The foods here are very nice but a bit pricey.
