Genting Highlands Trip
Saturday, August 09, 2008The last trip to Genting was in 2007. My sister & family were in town for holidays so I brought them to Genting yesterday. It was rather a very short trip as we spend about 4 hours up the hills. We reached the Skyway station at around 12.30pm and left around 4pm.
It was quite crowded and quite a long queue for the ride up but coming down it was rather empty.
I still prefer to take the Skyway than drive straight up to enjoy the views. The return ticket costs RM10.00/pax.
My sister, B-i-L and Mei Hsien.
This skyway is the fastest in the world and it is about 3.5km long.
After reaching Genting, we did some canwhoring and enter the casino to try some luck.
The world largest hotel, First World Hotel with the most number of rooms.
The outdoor amusement park. It has not change much with no new rides. With the Universal Studios coming up in Singapore, this park will loose its appeal and people will want to try those rides which are more hi-tech.
