Have you taken a Hot Air Balloon Ride before? Me, not yet and I also missed the chance to try it when I was at Angkor Wat.
But I finally tried it when Sime Darby Property provide free but Limited Tickets Hot Balloon Rides at the Royale Palm II on-site Villas. The Hot Air Balloon Workshop started from 6pm onwards.
Before we head to the Royale Palm II Show Villas and the Hot Air balloon site, we dropped by at the New Sales & Management Office @ Putra Heights to collect the tickets. You can view all the latest Putra Heights launches here.
After that we drove to the show villas site to view the show units which are very impressive. The costs for a unit starts from RM1.67 mil to 2.2mil.
Later, we were ferry to the Hot Air Balloon Launch Site by 4WD provided by Sime Darby Property. We reached there just bfore 7pm and quite a long queue waiting there.
Each ride can take 4 pax and we were taken up to the permitted height of 30-50metres only.
We waited till 7.30pm to get to our turn to take the ride.
My Mrs and son climbing into the basket.
Wow, nice view from the air. You can see KL scenery including the Twins Tower.
This is launch site below.
The Pilot releasing hot air to the balloon.
We got to stay up in the air for less than 3minutes and land back at the same site. The ride was too short but it was a good experience. Pictures not so clear as it was taken using my Nokia camera phone
