Thousand Offerings
Saturday, October 11, 2008Today, I attended the Thousand Offerings @ Chinese Assembly Hall, KL which was held from Oct 10-12, Oct, 2008.

I left home at 3,30pm and it was heavy downpour from Federal Highway till the venue. I was lucky to get a parking spot. The Teaching on "Living in Harmony" by the Abbot of Kopan Monastery, Khen Rinpoche Lama Lhundrup Rigsel which was scheduled to start at 4pm was delayed till 5pm. The teachings ended at 7pm and break for dinner. I went to Chinatown for my dinner.

The next program which is the Oral Transmission of the Medicine Puja, Light Offerings and Public Blessings started at 8pm.
Just before the Oral Transmission, Khen Rinpoche blessed the pair of Qi Lin or Kei Loon which have been placed at the main entrance of the newly renovated Chinese Assembly Hall.
