Day 7 : Lunch @ Kopan Monastery

After the Long Life Puja, we had a break for lunch while waiting for the Dakini Dance Performance. Everyone queue up to get their food and have a good lunch. The weather was beautiful, a little sunny and cooling.

  3. Keeyit: Everyone had the same food. :)

Nesh: Kopan Monastery is located quite high up on a hill. It is different from what we see here as this is the Tibeten Buddhism type of ceremony. :)

  4. 7 days in the monastry? It must have been a good experience. Are you a Buddhist? I thought I have asked you this question but I can't find where I posted it. I can see that the visit has changed your perception of life. That's good.

  5. jo-n: Yes, I am a Tibeten Mahayana Buddhist. I actually spent 10days there and I only posted the events till Day 7.

Yes, It is very meaningful and enlightening. Buddhism has changed my perception of life defintely. Buddhism is about compassion and loving kindness. And it is a way of life. Attachment and ignorance are the cause for suffering and unhappiness. :)

  7. jo-n: Rejoice to know that you are a Buddhist too and you are also very much involved in the Dhamma classes.

Well, if your motivation is for the benefits of all sentient beings and you have the Dhamma materials, why not.

I attended Dhamma classes at Losang Dragpa Centre Section 17, PJ. :)
