My close friend who stayed at Taman Megah, Petaling Jaya found his Proton Waja car stolen on early Sunday morning. He parked his car outside the house the same spot he park for the last five years.

According to him his wife noticed it when she worked up at 5am. He has reported to Police and now it is an insurance claim case.
What he is wondering is that why they stole his old car when there are many others better models parked along the same road. Well, I believe they want to rip it off for the parts as Waja is no more in production. They could have came with a tow truck to just tow away the car.
If you parked you car outside the house, please take extra precaution. The best offcourse is to park in your garage.

ReplyDeleteMy colleague car was also hijacked recently. His car was bang behind and when he came out to check, he got a blow at his back with a long parang handle. When trying to ask for the notebook in the car, he got slash on his hand.

ReplyDeleteI think car theft is quite frequent in Taman Megah that area coz I've heard people losing their Kancil before.
