After driving through some winding roads, we arrived at base and we have to walk some 400-500steps to reach the temple. (Batu Caves only have 272 steps, imagine how high we have to climb to reach the temple.
The weather was beuatiful at this time of the year and we start the climb from the base.
The climb was steep.
Along the way, there are monkeys.
Halfway, we have to take some rest.
After resting, we continued our climb.
Higher and higher.
Finally, we reached our destination, the Bajrayogini Temple.
This temple is actually a sort of temple complex, with the main temple having being built by King Pratap Malla in 1655.
Very unique architecture of the past.
No photography of the internal temple area is allowed when the door is open.
Geshe-la briefing us about the history of the temple.
Geshe-la and all of us sounded the bell 3 times.
Chung Han's turn.
Eon water where the water continue to flow for eons.
Eon Fire where the fire continues to burn for eons. With my flash, we wont be able to see the fire.
Taking a break.
The view is breath takings.
There are few caves here where great Buddhist Enlightened Master had meditated here many hundred or thousand years ago in this very cave.
Everyone is curious and want to go in to feel the energy.
Another cave!!!
Geshe-la also went in and pose for camera.
It is amazing, you can feel the energy while inside the cave.
On the way down to the base, it is always much easier when you are walking down.
When we arrived at the base, there is a small restaurant. You will noticed the lady beside watching her cloths.
We are finally down at the base.
