The Answer!

Thanks for guessing!!! Those from Malacca guessed it correctly. :)

The answer to the picture I last posted is:

In Chinese, it is called: 釘釘糖 (Ding Ding Dang) or Muck Nga Thong
In Bahasa malaysia : Gula Ketok
In English: Candy Sweets

What is muck nga thong? It was a very popular tidbit among the Chinese way back in the 70s to the 80s.

There are two types, one is the hard type and the others soft according to the seller. It is sweet and kind of like Nougat. I bought the soft type @ RM4/per packet. Too sweet for my likings.
