This afternoon on the way back from KL, I stopped by at Kafe Golden Bread well known for their fried bread stick (Yau Char Kui or youtiao) which is served in various version. There have Ham Chim Peng(Banana, Cheese & blueberry), desserts, fruits juices etc. I came here just for the Hong Kong Char Kui Roll and the Golden Char Kui King.

Total Bill for the above + mineral water: RM14.39If like Char Kui, you should drop by to sample all their creations. 1st in the World as stated on their billboard. Personally, I find it just okay.

unlce sam, next time I belanja you with the white fungus with pear dessert, ya. It kind of expensive to me le. But definitely the restaurant is worth trying. Something special.

Always pass by only. The food looks delicious, will go try out, since it so near to me...frankly I never try out all those nice food at Sri Petaling after 3 years staying here.
ReplyDeleteHi,thanks for trying out at Golden Bread. We are constantly trying to improve our products. Our SS2 store was closed last year due to many reasons, insufficent business volumn was just one of the many reasons, in fact, the high rental was the no. 1 reason for us to pull out from SS2.
ReplyDeleteWe received offers from many malls / shopping centres, but due to unimaginable rental, we do not dare to even set up any stores in any mall. Anyway, we are planning to open ksioks in some selective malls with high trafic.

Hey... I've finally found this place!! I was watching the TV Program on 8TV featuring 'you tiau'... now gonna try them out. Will give a fair comments once I've tried it k... shutting down my pc and ready to head on to Golden Bread now!!
