Cendul has been a favourite dessert for all Malaysians with, or without a sweet tooth. Strips of green pandan noodles made from rice flour mixed together with red beans, coconut milk, and shaved ice, all topped with gula melaka (black sugar syrup) -- a heavenly sight for all those who crave for something sweet and chilling, after a hot day under the sun.
The most famous one is at Penang Road, Penang. Penang so far where can I get one when I suddenly crave for it. Dont worry if you are in Subang Jaya-USJ area, you can have this famous cendul at Giant Food Court -USJ. You can also have their ABC.
Update on 23rd August, 2007.
I brought my friends for the Chedul yesterday and they also give the thumb ups. We discover that the Indian Rojaks that is very good too. So try it too when you are there for the chendul. :)
