Bukit Genting Hill @ Penang

Bukit Genting Hill Leisure Park & Restaurant, located about 9km from Teluk Kumbar or about 10 minutes drive from Bayan Lepas town is a great place to for:

2. a breathtaking oceanic view of the south-western part of Penang island

This is road map to the Bukit Genting Hill which is situated along the way to Balik Pulau. It is quite difficult to find. You gotta watch out for some roadsigns to bring you to the top. The road is pretty steep and narrow to reach the top. It is worth the trip for all the hassle to this spectacular and stunning hillside retreat with unique individual dinning "house" and the alfresco is also very pleasing to your eyes. It also offers a boatlike accommodation if you like to stay overnight.

There are ample parking lots for visitors and diners.
This is one of the unique house where you can have some piracy and small private functions.


The restaurant serves Thai cuisine famous with their kerabu, green curries, plad padprik, pud pet chicken, lemon squids and of course the best is still Tomyam. Get some cool drinks if you can't take spicy food, as they are really cooked with those red hot small chillies. The price is quite reasonable,
