If you are looking for foods, one of the place you can go to is Medan Selera(Food Court) SS2. I hardly go there until recently when I go there quite often. You can find all kind of foods there after 6pm. Most of stalls there open only during dinner time.

One day I dropped by there and noticed this stall having a long queue. So I went and checked it out what is so attractive that people queuing up for it. It must be something very delicious. To my surprise, the stall sell mixed rice. It occupy two stalls with the sign BreadGirl and Baba Nasi lemak. So I queue up to try it. The foods a freshly cook and have the most varieties among the mixed rice shop there. I do not have pictures of the foods. If you happen to be there, you may want to try it. But it can be on the expensive side depending on what you order as it costs me RM18.00 for two persons when I had my dinner there.

I used to have my meals there when I stayed in SS2 during my bachelor time.
ReplyDeleteBut I think this place is not that popular, because they prefer food court in Taman Megah.
King Kong;Yes, Mieng Tien FoodCourt @ Taman Megah is more popular with WIFI, LIVE TV and better environment. But some stall at SS2 serves nice foods so I am there for the foods when I crave for it. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's definitely crowded in SS2.
ReplyDeleteEspecially at nite, this place is very crowded. if you go for this mixed rice shop, long queue. :)

That particular stall doesn's open until usually about 6.30pm or later. Probably because they will only open until they have most of the food ready. And prepare for a long queue if anyone wants to try it. When you reach the front, you choose the veges and meat you want but and they will put it on the plate / box for you. Pretty pricey though. Usual veges and meat may cost you more than RM6.00.
ReplyDeleteRice Selection: White / Nasi Lemak
Veges example:- Brinjal with belacan, Kangkung, paku-pakis, Thai style tofu, 'bak' choi...
Meats example:- Whole fishes, tomato fish, curry chicken, fried chicken, soy-sauce chicken...
Go try it, but go early.
Ultima: Thanks for the comments and recommendations. i think this stall only open at 6.45-7pm. It is damn pricey. Last week, I brought my family there and my son ordered fish, taufoo and veges, it costs RM11.00.
ReplyDeleteEven though it is pricey, the queue is always there. The food must be very delicious. :)
Yah, King Kong I agree with you. I believe SS2 there most of them are regular customer and they are elderly.
