Many floggers have blog about the this Hong Kee delicious dim sum especially the "Shang Chao Loh Mai Fun" aka Fried glutinous Rice which is only available during the weekend.
I have visited this shop twice within the last two weeks, each time only 2 person only so cannot order that much to try. This pictures are taken during lunch today as the last one taken with my Nokia N76 turned out not that good.
Chineses Tea is a must when you go for Dim Sum.

Siu Mai is nice with generous amount fresh prawns. All the steam items are steamed when you placed the order.

Sui Kow is also quite nice.

Fried Carrot Cake with Egg & Beansprouts is nice. Not oily and good taste.

This fried item is not that nice as it is soft and not crispy.

We paid RM14.00 for the above few items + chinese tea.
This is the much talked about "Shang Chao Loh Mai Fun" aka Fried glutinous Rice which I still not yet try. This pictures were taken from Living in Food Heaven Blog. Hope you dont mind as I am curious how it look like and must go there during the weekend to try it.

You are very right, their deep fried dim sum not so good, we had a salad prawn for the first visit, the pastry was soggy with oily that we ask to take back. We like their "lor mai kai", lovely. Have yet to get the chance to eat their Shang Chow Lor Mai Fan.
