Another Tit-Bit...

It's hard to think of a word more charged with meaning—or meanings—than "life." Whether we're talking about when life begins or when it ends, the sanctity of life, or the danger of playing God, we all have an idea of what we mean when we talk about life. Yet, it often turns out, we actually mean different things. But it is very clear that the purpose of our life is to seek happiness.

My old friend has ventured into food business and he started this restaurant few months ago. Two Sundays ago, I brought my family to patronize his restaurant. Their special dish is Famous Menglembu Wan Tan Mee.

Just like most kopitiam this days, you have to write down your own orders. The menu for foods and drinks give you are wide varieties of choices.

The decor & environment is simple and cosy.

This is their Famous Soup Menglembu Wan tan Mee. The wan tan noodles is delicious but I would prefer the quality of Char Siew to be better. After eating those famous Char Siew, I find their Char Siew quite ordinary.

And this is the Dry Version.

It is very easy to find as it is located just opposite UOB Bank. So if you are around this area, you may want to give it a try.

just went there last wed morning attracted by the famous menglembu wantan mee sign. ordered the dry version. the noodle was of better texture signifying some usage of duck eggs in its making but the gravy was too overpowering and sweet suggesting addition of msg. it would have been better if there was a drop or two of sesame oil in the gravy to bring out the aroma. the wantan fillings was so so but the wrapping was very thin & tasty if wantan wrappings can be tasty.

Ford.. this the beauty of the ipoh menglembu wan tan mee which i guess who KL cant even get it. Ipoh wan tan is famous with thin wrap unlike those which normally found in kl with such a big thick thick skin and filled with empty meat.
and another point is Ipoh wan tan mee seldom use additive sesame oil.
