Yuan Yean Fisball Eating House @ Yong Peng
Monday, June 02, 2008On the way to JB last Saturday, we stopover at Yong Peng for lunch instead of the Plus Rest Area. I have been stopping by here a few times to try to famous Fuzhou Noodles. But this time, I wanted to try the Yong Peng Famous Fuzhou Yuan Yuen Fishball Eating House. The fishballs are handmade without any preservatives.
It is very easy to find as it is located along the Main Road (just next to the Caltex Station).Even
Even this big bikers stopped here to take a rest and have a great time here.
The menu and prices.
We started off with the Fresh Fish Cakes (RM3.80/pc) which is very fresh and yummylicious that we ordered a second piece.
Assorted drinks are available here.
Kuey Teow Fishball Noodles. RM4.00 (small). RM6.00 (Big)
Mee Fish Ball Noddles Soup
And I choose the Dry Version Mee. Very Delicious. I noticed that a group of 8 people came it later and all ordered this dry version.
Come with a bowl of Fish Balls.
It was raining very heavily and we decided to sample the Muar Otak Otak which is available here too. Eat in (RM8.00/pc) and Takeaway (RM6.00/pc). It will take about 10-15mins to be served as they have to steam it. Yummmy too.
We ordered take away half kilo of fish balls @ RM14.00 (Between 30-35 pcs) and 2 pcs of Otak-Otak.
It is worthwhile to stopover here as it just a short distance from the North South Highway.
